A lot has happened in our parish over the years. From the first services and parish celebrations to trips, gatherings and everyday moments spent together, these are all part of our community's story. Many people who have been involved in parish life will have photographs and memories from those years.
We collect photographs, videos, memories and stories about our parish's past. We would love to hear from anyone who has been part of our community, whether recently or many years ago.
We are interested in everyday parish life as well as major events. How did it all begin? Where were the first services held? Which celebrations, gatherings or trips do you remember most fondly? Are there people you particularly remember? We would especially welcome memories of the parish's early years.
We want to preserve not just photographs, but the stories behind them. If you have photographs or videos to share, please include a little information about them. When and where were they taken? What was the occasion? Who is pictured? Is there anything else you remember about that day?
Don't worry if you cannot remember exact dates or everyone's names. Even approximate details can be helpful. And if you have memories to share but no photographs, we would be just as pleased to hear from you.
By bringing together these personal memories, we hope to piece together the history of our parish and preserve it for future generations.
How to Share Your Photos and Memories
You can email photographs, videos, memories and other materials to info@ortodoxatenerife.es.
Please send photographs in their original quality wherever possible, without compression. If you have a large number of files or they are too big to email, please get in touch so we can arrange another way for you to send them.
If you have old printed photographs, documents or other keepsakes from parish life, please contact us too. We can discuss making digital copies while leaving the originals with you.
If you are sharing materials solely for the parish archive and do not want them to be published, please say so in your email.
